The 5W high transmitting power gives BF-TD520 a longer range and better penetration, able to handle the communication challenges in such environments as tall buildings, large warehouses, hotel complexes, etc. High power also means louder audio, and when the user does not need it he can easily switch the radio into low power mode via the power switch button, which is both flexible and power-efficient.

Emergency Alert

In case of emergency, the user can press the emergency button to ask for help. Moreover, BF-TD520 incorporates lone worker to safeguard the user when he is working by himself. When the user doesn’t operate the radio for a certain length of time, the radio will automatically send out an distress call to prevent the situation from escalating.

Voice Encryptions

BF-TD520 comes with voice encryption and scrambling to ensure the user’s information privacy. BF-TD520 communicates only with radios with the same encryption type, effectively cut off unwanted interference while prevent data leakage at the same time.

Multiple Channels

BF-TD520 supports 16 zones, each with 16 channels. The user can easily switch channels via the programmable side buttons according to his needs, which delivers further convenience and efficiency.

Silence Unknown Callers

BF-TD520 allows the user to filter contacts. It will block out unknown callers to prevent the user from unwanted distractions, which greatly improves the user’s communication efficiency. Moreover, the user can use the programmable button to switch between talkaround and repeater modes. The user can still enjoy PTT communications even if the repeater is down.
